Dav El merged with BostonCoach in 2013 to create the largest company in the high end chauffeured car industry. BostonCoach was founded in 1985 when Ned Johnson from Fidelity Investments wanted to create an improved transportation service for his executives.

Scott Solombrino – Chief Executive Officer

Scott Solombrino is the President and CEO of the Dav El | BostonCoach Chauffeured Transportation Network. The company is the country’s largest privately held Chauffeured Transportation Company. In 1978, while a freshman at Suffolk University, he founded his first company, Fifth Avenue Limousine Services Boston. He graduated from Suffolk University in Boston in 1982 with a degree in Government and Communications. Now Scott is a member of the Suffolk University Dean’s Advisory Board for the Sawyer School of Business and board member of the Trustees of Reservations, the oldest land conservation group in the United States and Mass Sports and Entertainment, Massachusetts Film Bureau, and a past board member of the Business Leadership Council for the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Scott currently, and for the past 15 years, serves as the President of the Allied Leadership Council for the Global Business Travel Association and is also a member of the board of directors. In 2002, the high watermark of Scott’s career came to fruition when the United States Congress and President Bush unanimously passed a bill that expanded the rights of chauffeured transportation operators throughout the United States. Scott’s dedication, discipline and hard work contributed to the passage of the landmark legislation on behalf of the industry that he has worked for throughout his career.

Shariff McMichael – Chief Operating Officer

Shariff McMichael brings more than 20 years of experience in transportation leadership to his role as Chief Operating Officer for Dav El | BostonCoach. In this role, Shariff oversees global operations with responsibility to deliver on the company’s promises to clients and assure reliable, safe and quality performance. Shariff has held varying roles of increasing responsibility and built a track record of success as a General Manager, Regional Director, Regional Vice President, and National Vice President. He has led teams that delivered consistently positive results and has engineered significant improvements in performance in multiple domains of service operations. He has also held roles as Regional Vice President on the west coast, and Vice President of Operations for North America where he worked to establish protocols and processes to drive continuous improvement before taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. Shariff is a U.S. Air Force veteran and is adept at building trust-based relationships and strong teamwork and has mentored many managers throughout the company. He has led teams that delivered consistently positive results and has also helped engineer significant performance improvements in multiple cities. He is an innovative problem-solver and thorough leader in transportation operations and business development.

Lisa Censullo – Chief Administrative Officer

Lisa brings the experience of a 25+ year career in technology along with a 15-year track record of successfully leading strategic business and operational initiatives. She has specific expertise in mergers and acquisitions as well as experience with systems implementation, strategic planning, logistics, product development and project management. Lisa has significant experience in planning and managing events, including customer programs and appreciation events, product launches and roadshows. Lisa believes her passion and relentless pursuit to deliver world-class service make her the ideal person for this role to drive client satisfaction and revenue growth. Most recently, Lisa was Chief Operating Officer for Esquire Deposition Solutions. Before that, she was Senior Vice President at Merrill Corporation and Chief Technology Officer for WordWave. Along with Best of Boston Events, Lisa oversees technology, transportation events, and the Dav El | BostonCoach affiliate network, a program that enables Dav El | BostonCoach to service clients on a global scale. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Steve Pitel – Chief Sales Officer

With more than 26 years of experience in the ground transportation industry, Steve joined Dav El Chauffeured Transportation Network in 1999 as Director of National Accounts. Shortly thereafter he was promoted to Vice President of Regional Sales where he oversaw the east coast region. Steve then became Senior Vice President of Sales, responsible for the management of the national sales team. In his current role as Chief Sales Officer, Steve oversees the global sales team, managing an extensive variety of businesses for the Dav El and BostonCoach brands, as well as the sales teams for the recently acquired Metropolitan Limousine and Torrey Pines Transportation. Steve also acts as the personal account manager for more than 250 Dav El and BostonCoach clients. This includes, but is not limited to, contract negotiations, account design implementation, and ongoing management of each customized ground transportation program. With a strong focus on customer service, Steve is dedicated and results-oriented.
