GBTA Munich 2019 Preview
Europe’s largest business travel conference will be held this year in Munich, Germany. Host to various travel industry companies from around the world, the GBTA 2019 Conference – Munich, in partnership with VDR, will be held at the Messe München Conference Center Nord from November 19-21.
For the approximate 1,000 European travel professionals and buyer attendees, there are just over 50 exhibitors, including Dav El BostonCoach, which provides attendees the opportunity to reach a targeted audience.
The conference also offers close to 40 educational sessions covering more than a dozen tracks such as risk management, innovation/technology, data analytics, sustainability, meetings/events, procurement, and research to name a few.
Of the 60 scheduled speakers, several will be featured on Centre Stage including, Dorothy Dowling, Sr. VP & Chief Marketing Officer at BWH | Hotel Group, Tobias Ragge, CEO of the HRS Group, Randy J. Tinseth, VP of Commercial Marketing for The Boeing Company, Thomas Haagensen, Managing Director of easyJet Europe, and Jürgen Siebenrock, Vice President Sales and Services Home Markets & Global Key Account Management of the Lufthansa Group | Airline Sales, Austrian, Lufthansa, SWISS.
A key “buyer only” session, the Knowledge Bazaar is facilitated by exhibitors. Here buyers can participate in up to three 15-minute sessions on a number of available discussion topics and learn the latest trends and developments from industry professionals. From November 18-19 there is also a pre-conference program focused on the key areas of travel management. This program is designed for professionals focused on meetings and events, risk, district sales, travel management, human resources/administrative, as well as anyone who simply wants a better understanding of the travel practices. The Fundamentals of Business Travel Management pre-con program includes topics such as security, forecasting, trends, supplier relationships, reporting, and more.
